What is Acudetox?

Acudetox (ear acupuncture) combines modern Western medicine with ancient Eastern wisdom. The sessions are non-verbal and allow the client time to simply relax while the process takes place.

The National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA) involves the gentle placement of up to five small, sterilized disposable needles into specific sites on each ear.

The recipients sit quietly in a group setting for 30-45 minutes or in an individual space allowing the treatment to take effect. NADA ear acupuncture is an adjunct therapy which is clinically effective, cost-efficient, drug-free and compatible cross-culturally.

It can easily be established within behavioral health, addictions or disaster relief settings or in any location that a group of people can sit together. The combined application of acupuncture with counseling, education, medical support and self-help groups such as outpatient programmes, AA and NA, enhances opportunities for success.

Acudetox Sessions

Acudetox is most effective when done as a series of sessions initially. To experience the benefits of the treatment in the early stages, 1-2 sessions/week are recommended.

As a starting special I am offering the following individual sessions:

4 X 45-minute sessions @ R800.00

8 x 45-minute sessions @ R1400.00

If you would like to try a single session of Acudetox the rate is R250.00

Acudetox is a treatment that is both supportive of and supported by coaching, therapy and/or counselling and should be undertaken in conjunction with one of these.
