Sober Living

Sober Living Environments are communal homes that provide a safe, independent living spaces for people recovering from and managing substance use and addiction disroders. They offer oversight and psychosocial support in a structured home environment.

Out of the Woods is a sober home in Lyndhurst, Johannesburg that offers shared accommodation for men working towards reintegrating into their personal and professional lives. The space offers professional support with weekly meetings and monthly coaching, as well as offering residents the opportuity to attend The Foundation Clinic's outpatient and integration programme

​

The programme is based on integration in the 12-step programme and residents are required to be acively working with a sponsor and atending regular meetings. Step work is a poweful recovery and self-reflection process, which is part of working a 12-step programme.

The house is a warm, caring space, ideal for men looking to take the next step in their recovery journey.​
